  New Track! After appearing at the International Guitar Festival of Great Britain, The Chris Corcoran Trio recorded a few tracks at the Edwin Street Studio at the Met in Bury. He’s a small taster of the session. Alongside Chris is Dave Lagnado on upright bass and Peter Greatorex on drums.

  Earlier this Summer I sat down with Big John Carter, the UK’s iconic Boogie Woogie Piano Man. We were in his flat in East London, I had my guitar and he was at the piano. We played and recorded a few tunes, ones of which I’m delighted to include here. Sit back and enjoy the Boogie!

  This is a subtle, acoustic track played on my 1954 Hofner. The second guitar part and percussion (played by Peter Greatorex) allow the tune to ebb and flow, building and releasing the tension. I hope you like it.

  Here's a neat little Mambo recorded with the talented Peter Greatorex on drums/percussion. Along with a couple of my guitar parts, this tune also has samples of double bass and steel drums to boost the overall sound (and why not!?). Hope you enjoy it.

  'Espressovatin' is an original and authentic swing track, complete with rocking guitar, honking horns and a rhythm section that just won't quit! This track features Mike Watts on drums, Stewart Pannaman on double bass, Ed Benstead on trumpet and Dan Faulkner on sax (who also arranged the horn parts!).   This is my take on a masterpiece by Belmonte and his Afro-American Music. I found an old LP a few years back called Mambo at Midnight. The theme is taken from a song called Palladium Mambo. It is produced by and features my good friend West Weston.
